This is not a diary

I was talking to one of my nearest and dearest friends the other day and I was telling her about all the things I would like to blog but can't since anyone can read my blog. I'm just not brave enough...

If this was a diary I might tell you that this week has been crummy... but this is not a diary. So I have nothing to say... until later.

Sorry it's been a crummy week :(

I hear you about having other things to write. That's why I still keep an actual journal (I can't call it a diary...seems too girly) so that I can still get it all out.

We should do something fun sometime!

First thought: Life being crummy is only good after someone has delivered cookies.

You know what I do when the weeks been crummy. I hit people. I hit them hard and convince them that they are having fun letting me do it. You know what the problem is with this? I've taken a few hits to the head myself and actually believe that it is fun. You know I'm talking about rugby right? Of course sitting out for the last two months -- not fun. That's okay though -- ligaments heals and bone bruises go away.

So... all I can offer is to come down and be your tackling dummy for a while. Emphasis on dummy! Besides that I can remind you that you're my favorite older sibling and my favorite sister at that too!

Politically Correct version: Exercise is a great stress reliever and physical exertion can aid one to just not have enough energy to care. So why not get a running start and go hit the gym?

If time is short a hug usually helps. So I offer you all the brotherly love you can handle. Though that might be too much ribbing and not enough support.

Aw, sorry you've had a crummy week. :(

I find that I need to 'edit' what I write in my blog too. I have a couple of journals in other places where people read and offer me support, which helps a lot. I'm pretty much an open book sort of person, so I tell people way more than they want to know anyway! ;o)

And after all that babble, HUGS to you and come on over soon for that playdate we talked about!
